What does a ZIP actually do?
A ZIP is a container. In Luna4 images are first compressed or converted and then saved together. Since JPG, PNG and WebP already use their own compression methods, ZIP may not reduce the overall weight much further.
Why it is useful even if it does not reduce more
The main advantage is organizational: one download instead of twenty, names preserved and less risk of forgetting a result. It also makes it easy to send or archive an entire batch.
Please extract the ZIP before using images
Most platforms do not allow you to upload images directly from within a ZIP. Extract the file to a folder and then select the results you need.
Check available space
Creating a large ZIP requires temporary memory in the browser. That's why Luna4 limits the quantity and weight of the batch, especially to protect phones with fewer resources.
Keep a copy of the originals
The ZIP results do not replace your original copy. Keep the source files until you verify that the final quality, format, and resolution are correct.
Do it directly in Luna4
Process a batch and let Luna4 automatically group all the finished results.
