Free crop first, proportions only when you need them
The default mode is free: you decide which part of the image to keep. The 1:1, 4:5, 16:9 and 9:16 ratios are optional accesses for cases where a platform requires a specific format.
Avoid deforming the image
Crop removes an area of the image; It does not stretch or squash the content. If you need to change width and height without cutting, that corresponds to a resizing tool.
